Energize Co2mmunity – Real-life implementation of renewable community energy projects (Interreg Baltic Sea Region-program)

Finnish pilot at Lapinjärvi Husulanmäki is developing best suitable warming system for community living in.

In the Husulanmäki pilot, Green Net Finland and Aalto University have decided to take a closer look at a few renewable heating solutions:

normal geothermal heat (boreholes), a borehole field, heat collection piping for the field and lake heat.

For these, the study will be carried out by an external expert company. The study will include both a techno-economic assessment and a supporting soil survey.

The results are compared directly with the electric heating option. The aim is to find out the results of this study by the summer. The project is also preparing how the results will be implemented.
