
The Tokyo mission organized by Green Net Finland and Tehnopolis is currently underway. A total of nine organizations are participating. We have introduced the companies and organizations from Finland in this article.
The goal of the mission is to generate new business or cooperation agreements for the participating organizations. In addition to Green Net Finland and Tehnopolis, the consulting firm Ciriot Inc. is providing support to the participants. The mission’s program includes familiarization with the Japanese market and corporate culture, visits to e.g. an innovation center and the SusHi Tech fair, as well as networking and company pitches.

FINESTJAPAN is an European Union co-funded development project running during 2024-2027 led by Green Net Finland and Tehnopol Science and Business Park.
The project aims to build commercial partnerships between Finland, Estonia and Japan in the field of green technology and ICT by connecting growth-oriented SMEs with partners and customers in Japan. The main focus areas are:
- Green technology
- AI and digitalisation
- Health technology

Funding: Project is co-funded by European Union’s Central Baltic program. The total budget of the project is 608 135 €, of which GNF’s share is 347 426 €
