GNF was awarded the European Cluster Management Excellence – BRONZE label!
Green Net Finland is a cluster of the responsible environmental goods and services sector. Last year GNF was approved as a cluster registered on the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. The ECCP is an international portal involving many sectoral clusters at the European Union.

The quality and effectiveness of EU clusters is monitored by the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA), which operates within the German organisation VDI/VDE Innovation+Technik. Over the past summer, we have participated in an international benchmarking in which an ESCA expert has critically analysed our cluster, its management and operation. In the benchmarking GNF met the Cluster Management Excellence Label requirements and it has been recognized as ”Cluster Management Excellence Label BRONZE – Striving for Cluster Excellence”.

In short, this means that GNF meets the eligibility criteria for cluster management excellence and has a high level of quality.

In order to achieve the bronze label, an expert from the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA) has analysed the GNF bronze label application and ESCA has decided to award the certificate based on the evaluation.

The Bronze label gives GNF a stronger basis for cooperation and high-quality operations, and it also promotes international and EU cluster cooperation.
