The FINESTAJAPAN-project is calling for Finnish and Estonian GreenTech-SME´s to join now!

The project invites Finnish and Estonian greentech & healthtech SMEs interested in Japanese markets to join now! The main aim is to achieve new business deals for the companies participating in the project.  A secondary target is to introduce marketing or organizational innovation in the Japanese market, such as e.g. applying new marketing approaches or hiring Japanese market-specific employees. For committed companies missions to Japan will be partly supported by the project. The SMEs will also gain knowledge of the Japanese business culture and obtain visibility in Japan together with the other participating companies.

What kind of target companies FINESTJAPAN project is seeking?

The project focuses on Greentech widely, e.g. reducing carbon emissions, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, environmentally friendly products and services, smart city, resource-wise circular economy. Companies having activity in the Central Baltic region, e.g. Finland and Estonia are preferred. Companies with an existing product or service, and a possibility to make a deal to start exporting it to Japan.

The above would be free of charge for the companies.

Experts to support committed Finnish and Estonian companies in achieving sales are selected

Ciriot Inc. has been selected to work with the FINESTJAPAN project. Ciriot Inc. established a Growth business development consultancy in Japan in 2016. Ciriot executes business expansion and market-entry projects and builds partnerships for sales and distribution. Ciriot also provides services for growth funding and R&D projects.

An experienced mentor is selected to advise Estonian companies

Estonian companies have an opportunity to be advised by experienced mentor advised by mentor Patrick Gerber.
Patrick has cooperated with Tehnopol for a long time and has advised tech and startup companies on their export strategies and activities, creating value propositions, etc. Patrick will support Estonian companies in creating their Japanese market-related activities and to be prepared for their new market entry. Each company will get approximately 8 mentoring hours to work with Patrick Gerber.

Exponaut platform to support communication and matchmaking

For communication and matchmaking between participating companies, experts-consultants, interested counterparts in Japan, mentors, and the project team, FINESTJAPAN will utilize the Exponaut platform.

Planning of the first mission to Japan is started

The project has started developing content and planning the timing for the first mission to Japan. We aim to connect this to the Osaka EXPO 2025 to efficiently approach prospective customers in Japan. The committed companies will be partly supported by the project in this mission.
