Picture_24.10.2017_SPbAt the session “GREEN Vector of Technological Breakthrough: Implementation Tools for Sustainable Development Strategies of Cities and Regions” of the Forum Green Net Finland, Finnish Water Forum, Cleantech Latvia, St.Petersburg cleantech cluster for urban environment and Tatarstan Territorial-Industrial Complex “AGROPOLIS “ALKEEAGROBIOPROM” are presented interesting practical actions they clusters have been taken in Finland, Latvia, St.Petersburg and Tatarstan on the way to the better life quality. Council of the Baltic Sea States presented their actions on sustainability. In the session were also presented tools of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to support development of Innovative clusters in Russian regions. St.Petersburg cleantech cluster presented the idea of the flagship international project “Sustainable Development Cluster 2030” aimed at implementing 17 SDGs in the Baltic Sea region and involving Russia in 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Also, were discussed initiative of Russian NTI GreenNet. As an instrument for supporting and experience transfer from Green Net Finland is planned to utilize South-East Finland-Russia CBC cross-border cooperation programme.

After the session 4 cluster-members of BALTIC CLEANTECH ALLIANCE – Finnish Water Forum, Green Net Finland, Cleantech Latvia and St.Petersburg Cleantech Cluster are continued discussions about possibilities of utilizing the brand of BCA in the future, after the project CB2East (EU Interreg, Central Baltic) will end on May 2018. All four cleantech clusters are expressed their interest to develop new joint project and as one of the instruments could be used already opened 3rd call of Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme.
